Description

This 100% Welschriesling from Syfany is a perfect example of a top quality wine from this variety. This grape has nothing to do with Riesling, it is literally translated as the 'foreign Riesling'. Given some bottle age on it, it is showing lots of complexity and like with all Syfany wines they are so drinkable and moreish! Waxy lemon, salted honeycomb, white flowers, super mineral and touch of salinity on the palate, with a long, lingering finish! Can pair with a whole range of richer flavoured dishes, anything with spice or heat, a hit with pork belly, chicken or grilled vegetables.
