Boutique winery Mt Difficulty was an early pioneer in the region. With their founding vineyards established in 1992, Mt Difficulty owns some of the oldest vines and is one of the most respected producers in Central Otago. Situated on the famous Felton Road in Bannockburn, this is a unique and rare area of extremes. Mt Difficulty has harnessed this once brutal terrain to produce premium wines at the forefront of Otago`s and some say New Zealand`s, finest wine production.
Tasting Notes: From the stunning region of Central Otago in New Zealand comes this rich and fruity wine. The nose is a fruit cocktail of aromas including white pear, passionfruit, melon and mango. These tropical fruit flavours are repeated on the palate alongside some delicious stone fruit flavours of peaches and nectarines. The mouthfeel is lovely and rich which leads to a textured and off dry finish.
Food: A great aperitif, this will go well with grilled chicken and lemon sauce, and lightly grilled snapper.
