This Marlborough Sauvignon made by former Cloudy Bay winemaker Eveline Fraser, this aptly named “little beauty” is good enough to rival the wines of her previous employer, but is available for a fraction of the price. The flavours that her wines exhibit, are expressive but refined – capable of being enjoyed on their own, or matching very sophisticated food. Aromas of honeydew melon and lemon grass and capsicum with a smoky, mineral character. Citrus notes on the palate beautifully balanced by flavours of pink grapefruit and basil.
