Description

The vineyard, based in the Colli Orientali del Friuli has come a long way since farmer Min Zorzettig started making wine in the 1960s. After a large re-vamp in the early nineties, old vineyards were replanted, new land acquired, new varieties introduced and production was intentionally cut, with harvest taking place almost entirely by hand. Grown on high sun-trap terraces in the eastern Friuli hills, the hand-tended vines produce only the tiniest quantity of grapes.
A fresh Pinot Grigio with rare depth and elegance from youthful, modern winery in Italy's classic Friuli region. Fresh and expressive, with acacia blossom, tropical fruit and subtle brioche notes. This is not your standard Pinot Grigio!
