Clos des Lunes 'Lune d'Argent' is produced by Olivier Bernard and the winemaking team at Domaine de Chevalier. A blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc from 65-hectares of vineyards split between the sub-zones of Sauternes (adjacent to Ch. Yquem!), Bommes as well as Barsac, each adding power, freshness and minerality respectively. It is a stunning wine, with stunning pedigree.
Bright pale gold colour. Nose of wild white flowers mixed with pulpy white fruits, citrus fruits and fresh aromatic herbs with a touch of star anise. Ample taste of Sémillon with delicate and tasty flesh which harmoniously recalls the complex aromas of the nose. Refined finish. This wine from a very sunny vintage will be appreciated perfectly on the passion and freshness of its youth. In organic conversion 3rd year.

Aromas of Anjou pear, white peach and lime tree leaves introduce the 2023 Lune d'Argent, a juicy, fresh, round, charming, elegant and sapid wine with bright acids and an ethereal finish. This is a blend of 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc.

4 Apr, 2024 – This is round and compact with vivid acidity and a light phenolic edge to it. It has a floral character with fresh orchard fruit and stones. Medium-bodied and nervy with a chalky finish. Outstanding depth. 70% semillon and 30% sauvignon.
