YAUEMON Junmai Nigorizake Sake, Moonlight Bottle (72cl) 16%abv

Description

A superb example of a sweet-style Junmai nigori (cloudy) sake. Nigorizake is made simply by coarse-filtering finished, fermented sake to only partially remove the rice lees from the mixture. This results in a sake with a dense mouthfeel, loads of body and heady fragrance.

Moonlight is also deliciously sweet and best served chilled. The thick & silky texture of this sake pairs wonderfully with spicy foods (try curry!) as well as tempura and other deep-fried foods, robata, grilled squid and octopus and spicy foods.
