Considered Château d’Esclans’ finest wine, Garrus is made from a single vineyard of nearly 100 year-old vines. Entirely fermented and aged in new large French oak barrels, the powerful and elegant Garrus was at the heart to Sacha Lichine’s vision in 2006 to make rosé grand. Today Garrus is firmly established as a world class, iconic luxury rosé.
Jancis Robinson 17 points: "80- to 90-year-old vines. 100% barrel-fermented, but with less new oak than in previous years. That oak is really delicious, and combines so well with the fruit – a really nicely made example, that delivers on fruit, balance, intensity and length. I guess those who don't like oak won't like this, but it works for me – there's sophistication, body, persistence and complexity." Drink 2022-2032.
