As with the Brunello itself, Sesti's delicious Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on the Sesti estate. It's aged for 16 months in medium sized oak casks. Giuseppe's great winemaking skills are clear to see in this wine. There is deep fruit and pure Tuscan depth, it's polished and bursting with fruit. It greets the palate like velvet, then unleashes a wild side: black cherry, spices, a bloody note, and finally a gutsy finish that leaves something to ponder long after it’s gone. This Rosso does not mess around.
