The Sabon family has a long history in Chateauneuf du Pape. One of the oldest documented landholders in Chateauneuf du Pape, the Sabon family has controlled vineyards in the zone since 1540. The Chateauneuf du Pape Les Olivets is a blend of 80% Grenache and the rest Syrah and Cinsault aged in foudre. Its attractive notes of kirsch liqueur, sweet roasted herbs, lavender and spice box are followed by a medium to full-bodied, luscious wine. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
