Description

M. Chapoutier, founded in 1808, cultivates its vines respecting the balance of nature. This gives full expression to the complexity of the soil and to the grape variety with exceptional quality and character of the region. The grapes used by Chapoutier are carefully handpicked at optimal ripeness, ensuring that only the finest fruit makes its way into the winery. This Côtes du Rhône is a blend showcasing the classic Rhône grape varieties of Grenache and Syrah. The exact composition may vary depending on the vintage, but the result is always harmonious and well-balanced with depth and complexity. It exhibits a beautiful ruby-red colour, and on the nose, it reveals an inviting bouquet of blackcurrant and raspberry notes complemented by hints of white pepper.

It is bright with subtle floral notes and a toutch of roasted spices on the finish. It is very easy drinking and will compliment a wide selection of dishes to include cheeseboard, roasted meats, pasta or pizza.
