Description

From a plot near the town of Bedarrides, from a vineyard covered in large round pebbles over sandy red clay. Planted on slightly higher altitude than Barbe Rac, wine from this plot is known for its great structure and intensity. The 2021 is a remarkably elegant wine with enticing notes of crushed raspberries and candied orange peel that follow onto the palate. Palate: unctuous, ample with warm tannins. According to the vintage, the wine can be kept from 30 to 60 years, indeed from 50 to 75 years. Long lingering finish.
