Description

Named in tribute to the Ladybirds that combat the presence of the mealybug and protect the vines, they used to be bought and released by the winery, but now after 14 years, the cycle goes naturally and there are enough around. These little creatures are a remarkable deterrent and avoid the need for the use of pesticides to eradicate pests.

Merlot (44%), Cabernet Franc (26%), Cabernet Sauvignon (26%), Malbec (4%)

This wine has a Bordeaux blend influenced style of winemaking, it has a complex nose with hints of spice, chocolate and mocha. Good structure with plum and mineral complexity and a lingering finish.

Try with pot roast beef, meatballs in tomato sauce and pasta with bolognese sauce.
