"Seductively scented, deep and dark, ripe black fruits with very soft floral scents. Ripe, juicy and so approachable, such a great texture, mouthfilling in a delicate way. It's a cool style, with blue fruits - blueberries, plums. cherries - but the tannins are so well integrated and underpinned by quite high acidity that this just stays off being austere for the moment (but does give a healthy dose of firmness on the mid-palate). I love the overall feel, really well worked with a light overall frame. A slow burner with classic charm. 3.70pH. Drinking Window 2024 - 2034."
JAMES SUCKLING Score 93-94
"Lots of Lynch character to this wine, with a full body and blackcurrant, dark-chocolate, tar and lean-pencil character. Full and flavorful. Solid center-palate. Second wine. Nicely put together. 56% merlot and 44% cabernet sauvignon."
