Description

The Rocca family originates from Barbaresco. Bruno Rocca took charge of the family business when his father died in 1978, and decided that all the wine produced by the estate would from then on be sold in bottle. The family now has 15 hectares of vineyards. Stylistically, Bruno is a consummate modernist, making wines with great intensity of fruit while retaining the structure and elegance of the Langhe at its best. The grapes were hand picked from the best sites of the Bruno Rocca vineyards. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barriques.

TASTING: Deep garnet red. This is an opulent wine that opens with aromas of dense black fruits, blackberry and plum, along with delicate floral perfumes of violet, rose and a touch of spice. The mouthfilling, warm structure of the palate is long, persistent and elegant. Feature(s): Vegetarian, Practising Organic, Vegan.
