Specially selected Portos are chosen for ageing in wooden casks, Gradual exposure to air, concentrates the flavours and matures the ruby colours to amber, creating the rare and delicious Sandeman Porto Tawny 30 Years Old. The ageing process intensifies the fruit creating the complex flavours characteristic of Tawny Porto, a perfect ending to any meal and an inspiration for good conversation.
TASTING: Rich tawny in colour with amber hints in the glass. Intense aromas of honey, spices, dried apricots, hazelnuts and vanilla. The palate balances rich sweet and savoury characters with wonderful elegance, great intensity and an exceptionally long finish. Serve this chilled in a Jancis Roninson wine glass to allow the perfumes to express themselves. Comes beautifully presented in a leather tube.
