The NV 10 Years Old Tawny Porto is a typical Douro blend bottled in August 2022 with a bar-top cork (the other age-indicated Tawnies in this report came with Vinolok glass stoppers) and 110 grams of residual sugar. Dark in flavor overtones, this is a 10 Year Tawny that seems rather serious and complex but still light and friendly. It doesn't project a lot of focus or concentration, but it's reasonable enough for a 10 Year. Then, it adds caressing texture, while its complexity is better than the norm. This is very nice. It drinks great now. It should hold a couple of decades if you must hold it, but that's not the point here.

WINE ENTHUSIAST 88 points
This has a fine bite, offering its richness on the edge of a knife. Wood and fruit tannins are very evident, giving the concentration a dry, fresh core, over which dried fruit flavors pass. It has some age to it, as if there are older wines in the blend. — Roger Voss

JANCIS ROBINSON 15.5 points
Mid russet tawny. Smoky slate and minerally, opening over wood and shoe polish. Residual, dried-herb and brandy tones from the spirit. Nice balance between sugar and bright acidity does give lift. There’s more fruit on the palate than on the nose, but it is a bit candied. Moderate length. (TJ)

SUSTAINABLE FARMING.
