"I’ve spent most of my working life in hospitality mainly in kitchens as a chef but also running bars and restaurants and the best thing is always learning more about food and drink. For the last few years, I was the executive chef for Jersey’s largest pub company running kitchens and helping design menus across Jersey and Guernsey. Jersey is now the sixth island I have worked and lived on, and I have made it home with my partner, two daughters and Cheddar our cat."
Chris was awarded his WSET 2 in Wines with Distinction in 2023.

What is your role?
Helping customers find their perfect wine or beer.
What are some of your interests outside work?
Cooking, especially baking with my two daughters, cheese, and writing about food and drink.
If you could be served any food/dish, what would it be?
Chinese food, especially Cantonese-style crab with ginger and spring onions.
What do you like about working for Dunell’s?
Working with a super friendly team who are passionate about giving great customer service and are all incredibly knowledgeable about wine and other drinks.
What is your most diverse achievement?
Bungee jumping dressed as Mr. Blobby!

Rioja, sherry, and English IPA beers.
