Part of the 'Contrasts' series at Benromach Distillery, the 'Peat Smoke' expression uses barley peated to approximately 67ppm (slighly higher than Ardbeg's 55ppm) that pushes your classic christmas cake aromas of Benromach away and into the realm of cured meats, tobacco and vibrant lemon as well as an enveloping sweet vanilla and honeycomb. Matured in first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels and non-chill filtered & natural colour.
