Phenomenal Tuscany Event at Beaumont with Elisa Sesti

You know a tasting event is going well when the room falls silent!

Hanging off every word, eager to find out more. To listen, learn, swirl, hear every story, enjoy every sip, and savour every moment. This was the experience enjoyed on Thursday 13th March in our Tasting Room at Beaumont with Elisa Sesti of Castello di Argiano, Montalcino, Italy. Elisa took us all on a truly magical journey, discussing the vibrant history of Brunello, astronomy and everything in between, not to mention the incredible wines. It was an evening never to be forgotten!

It was even more special as Elisa had organised for bottles of yet-to-be-released vintages to be sent to us directly from the winery to share with our Jersey customers!

We also had a chance to try the fabulous library release of 2015 Brunello di Montalcino, which demonstrates just how gracefully Sangiovese can age when properly cared for.

Massive thanks to everyone who packed out the room and to Elisa for sharing her passion with us and spending time with our trade clients during her visit. Thanks also to Steve Durrant from Armit Wines for all his support. It was wonderful to bring this event to Jersey!
